University of Arizona Tree of Life Project
Collection of more than
1385 web pages about proups of organisms authored by biologists from around
the world. All of these pages and groups are linked to one oanother in an evolutionary
tree with subgroup pages branching off<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> group
pages. Individual species are the "leaves" at the ends of branches.
Distinguishing and common characteristics of each group and subgroup are given.
Individual groups are still under construction, but the structure of the tree
is complete.
